Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") is a Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has explored the fringes of traditional and pop music. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the sound of the young singer as sassy and sweet however with a bite. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough that topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually receiving the Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami was her third full-length album. The album featured collaborations with fellow artists and producers, including Cory Henry. The album was released in March 2022 after the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to perform on her own in the show. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman ever to win both of these awards.
