Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. The majority of her childhood listening to music from the past and boleros of the past, traditional ranchero or romantic tunes and older classical songs. Ana loves tangos, operas and other theatrical performances. At age 16 she started singing and studying the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to give her more intense training in singing. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. While a student, and as a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups as well as choruses. After moving into America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she relocated to southern California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. As a musician and teacher, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her passion and enthusiasm for music. Ana is also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
