Amelle Berrabah is an British musician and singer with Moroccan origin, was born on 22 April 1984. She took over Mutya Buena as the founding member of the Sugababes in December 2005. After her collaboration with TinchyStryder on the hit single "Never Let You" in 2009 she was the first and only Sugababes member to achieve the top position. In 2009, she scored an individual number one single by collaborating with Tinchy Stryder on their track "Never Leave You". It was her first and only Sugababes member to achieve this height. The manager of the group had been to see Berrabah in an American performance in 2003 and was impressed by her performance.
